The Shibui BillyMac JigTM was designed with Bassmaster Elite Pro and Rookie Of The Year Billy McCaghren, to produce the ultimate in versatility and performance required to bring success at fishing’s most competitive level. The BillyMac JigTM head is in a class of it’s own, combining the features of a flipping head, swimming head and football head to create a new style of jig head like no other.

The Xtra Heavy Mustad Needlepoint Hook is angled to perform through the thickest cover whether flipping, casting or swimming. It also assures an unparalled hookset ration that puts fish in the boat, whether up close while flipping or when dragging from a long distance.

The overall balance of the jig is designed to make it fall straight without spiralling – a problem common to many flipping jigs. This makes the BillyMac jig an excellent choice for flipping grass and heavy brush. A stout weedguard and compact design create an incredibly snag free jig, so if you’re tired of losing other jigs this one is for you.

Billy also wanted the jig to excell in rocky areas – one that he could fish similarly to a football jig. The weight distribution and wide base of the jig make it a perfect fit for snag-free casting and dragging over rocks and shell beds. The bait deflects off debris with a similar wobbling, skittering action as a football jig.

The BillyMac JigTM features our Talon V-Claw Bait Keeper to keep trailers secure. Because trailers are held securely they last much longer so you’ll need fewer.

Each jig is hand detailed and has our own proprietary multiple step paint process for the most beautiful, durable finish in the industry, and then dressed with our hand tied, wire wrapped skirts with a built in rattle band.
